Software Engineer (80 Backend/20 Devops)

A solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts.

Mitigate technical roadblocks involving multiple technologies.

Understanding of Agile development methodology and exposure to development technique utilizing Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) and DevOp

responsibilities:

• Champion the effort to build and maintain high quality service documentation
• Write concise and clear technical specifications based on analysis of sophisticated business requirements
• Coordinate multiple development work streams through integration and ensures architecture is scalable and extensible
• Define, maintain and support development environment while adopting industry standard methodologies and tools
• Ensures code reviews, unit testing and integration testing is completed efficiently and optimally
• Work closely with business partners and management team in evaluating current systems and making decisions on future development.
• Provide technical leadership on advice, training and technical support for various projects and junior team members of the team.

qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher

5-8 years of software development experience

5 years total OO development experience

4-6 years of Java EE development experience

Investment/financial services experience is highly desired preferably within the equity compensation space
