AWS Platform Engineer

AWS Platform Engineer Role Overview: The AWS Platform Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and services on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role ensures that platforms are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance, supporting application development and business operations. ____ Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Design & Deployment: o Build and manage AWS environments including EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, and other services. o Design and implement scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems. Automation & DevOps: o Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation. o Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments. Monitoring & Optimization: o Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues. o Optimize AWS resources for cost and efficiency. Security & Compliance: o Apply AWS security best practices (IAM policies, encryption, network security). o Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Collaboration: o Work closely with developers, architects, and operations teams. o Provide technical guidance and support for cloud-related projects. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong experience with AWS services and cloud architecture. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation). Knowledge of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices. Scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation. AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer preferred
