Endpoint Engineer
Our client is seeking an Endpoint Engineer to provide highly available software distribution and patch management.
This role is 100% REMOTE.
Responsibilities:

Evaluates, analyzes, designs, develops, tests, documents, and implements complex solutions for end user computing systems across the enterprise.

Troubleshooting and providing technical support for remote end-user computing systems.

Provide highly available software distribution and patch management.

Monitoring performance and maintaining system stability.

Supporting and ensuring reliability of deployed technologies, systems and processes according to established procedures and industry best practices.

Ensures that change management and defined security procedures for all assigned systems are executed in accordance with policies and procedures.

Must be willing to adjust schedule to perform maintenance and upgrades outside of business hours.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field, or commensurate years of experience in a professional environment is required.

3 years of experience in endpoint management

Experience with software packaging tools such as AdminStudio and extensive PowerShell scripting experience is required.

Experience building packages for Intune is also required, experience building packages for Microsoft Configuration Manager is a plus.

Experience developing packages and supporting users in a Microsoft AppLocker environment is a plus.

Experience deploying and troubleshooting packages with Intune and Windows 11 Company Portal is a desired.

Experience using Intune to manage policy implementations is a plus. Knowledge of certificates, scripting and application signing is a plus.

Experience with supporting applications in Citrix XenApp or other application virtualization solutions is a plus.

Prior experience with Patch My PC is desired. Experience using Qualys or other similar tools for vulnerability management is a plus.

Experience constructing packages for Windows 11 and prior experience supporting Windows 11 remote environments is required. Experience using Nexthink and NinjaOne to manage remote desktop environments is a plus.

Prior experience supporting Developer communities is desired.

Relevant technical certifications are a plus.

Experience with using ServiceNow for change management functions and ticketing is desired. ITIL certification is a plus. SCRUM experience is also desired.
