Embark on a rewarding journey as an ER Registered Nurse in beautiful Hilo, Hawaii, where every shift offers the chance to impact lives in life‑saving moments. Step into a fast paced, high‑energy environment where your clinical expertise, quick thinking, and compassionate care help patients and families navigate urgent health challenges with confidence. In this role you’ll blend precision, teamwork, and bedside skill to stabilize patients, support families, and collaborate with a dynamic, patient‑centered team. As you serve in one of the most breathtaking settings in the nation, you’ll also have the opportunity to experience the state’s diverse beauty—from lush rainforests and cascading waterfalls to black‑sand beaches and sunlit shorelines. Imagine starting your next assignment while exploring Maui’s coastline, Oahu’s vibrant city life, Kauai’s rugged trails, or the Big Island’s volcanic vistas during time off. Hawaii’s unique blend of culture, climate, and care creates a backdrop for meaningful work and unforgettable moments.

Working in Hilo places you at the heart of a thriving community hospital that welcomes innovation and professional growth. The location benefits extend beyond the patient bedside. You’ll enjoy a supportive island environment that emphasizes work‑life balance, access to continuing education, and opportunities to connect with colleagues across departments and specialties. For nurses who love travel or who want the flexibility to experience a variety of clinical settings, there’s potential to work in multiple locations across the U.S., bringing your ER expertise to different communities, patient populations, and care models. This versatility strengthens your practice, expands your professional network, and deepens your clinical repertoire, all while maintaining a solid foundation in evidence‑based emergency care.

In this ER RN role, you’ll deliver critical, time‑sensitive patient care from the moment a patient presents to triage through stabilization and disposition. Key responsibilities include rapid assessment, developing and executing patient treatment plans, initiating life‑saving interventions, and coordinating with physicians, techs, and support staff under pressure. You’ll monitor and interpret monitors, manage airway and breathing concerns, administer medications, and document meticulously to ensure continuity of care. You’ll also lead or participate in rapid response and trauma activation when needed, contribute to patient and family education, and support discharge planning and referrals. The role offers pathways for professional growth within emergency nursing—whether pursuing advanced certifications in trauma, critical care, or disaster preparedness, or stepping into mentorship or charge nurse opportunities as you build confidence and leadership skills. The work is demanding, but it is also exceptionally rewarding, with opportunities to refine triage judgment, improve throughput, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Compensation and benefits are crafted to recognize your expertise and keep you motivated. Expect competitive weekly pay within the range of $1,791 to $1,875, with the flexibility to align compensation with experience and certifications. You’ll receive comprehensive housing assistance to help you settle in comfortably, making it easier to focus on your patients and your professional development. There are extension opportunities designed to bring continuity to your assignment, allowing you to deepen relationships with the team and the community you serve. A generous bonus structure acknowledges your commitment and performance. And throughout your travel, you’ll benefit from 24/7 support from a dedicated service team—ready to assist with logistics, clinical questions, or any situation that arises, so you can concentrate on delivering high‑quality care.

The company values empowering its staff through clear career pathways, ongoing learning, and a supportive culture that prioritizes safety, mentorship, and work‑life harmony. You’ll join a community that celebrates clinical excellence and recognizes the expertise you bring to the ER. From onboarding to ongoing training, the emphasis is on your advancement, with resources and leadership ready to help you reach new professional milestones while feeling valued and heard in every shift. This is more than a job—it’s a platform for continuing to grow as a clinician, expand your skill set, and shape the future of emergency care with a team that shares your dedication to patient welfare.

If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact in a scenic, culturally rich setting while expanding your ER mastery, this is your chance to apply. Seize the opportunity to join a company that respects your contribution and invests in your development, with supportive teams, dynamic patient needs, and the adventure of living in Hawaii. Start your journey on 02/09/2026, for a contract spanning multiple weeks, and see how far your expertise—and your curiosity—can take you.
