Senior Doc is looking for a remote Medical Assistant to support our dedicated physician. This role is more than administrative—it’s about driving patient care forward with precision, efficiency, and heart.
This is a primarily remote position to start, ideal for a highly organized, tech-savvy professional who excels at staying ahead of tasks and facilitating seamless communication across care teams.
What You’ll Be Doing:
In this role, you’ll act as a true extension of the physician—managing priorities, anticipating needs, and helping deliver exceptional care. You’ll need to juggle multiple responsibilities and maintain strong follow-through without missing a beat.
Key Responsibilities:

Calendar Management Pro: Coordinate the physician’s daily schedule with precision, ensuring all appointments, tasks, and follow-ups run on time.

Communication Hub: Act as a liaison between patients, families, care teams, and referring providers—ensuring nothing gets lost in translation.

Care Coordinator: Place orders for labs, prescriptions, and referrals, and follow up to ensure completion and clarity for all parties involved.

Real-Time Scribe & Documentation: Accurately document visit notes during calls or virtual appointments and maintain organized, timely chart updates.

Administrative Lead: Manage emails, calls, documents, and tasks with a proactive mindset and impeccable attention to deadlines.

Project & Task Manager: Track ongoing projects, flag outstanding items, and take initiative to keep everything moving forward.
Who You Are:

Certified Medical Assistant — Required

Exceptional Time Manager: You prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and always stay one step ahead.

Excellent Communicator: You write and speak with clarity and confidence—whether it’s an email to a patient, a phone call with a provider, or a quick update to the physician.

Tech Fluent: Comfortable navigating EHRs, Microsoft Office, Outlook, cloud tools, and learning new systems quickly.

Self-Starter: You work independently with minimal oversight and thrive in a remote environment.

Highly Organized: You know where everything is, what’s coming next, and what still needs follow-up.

Senior Care Experience — Strongly Preferred

While the position is primarily remote, local candidates are preferred for occasional in-person needs or future hybrid transitions.
