Salary: $140,000.00 USD Annually – $155,000.00 USD Annually

Description:

**Role:Hvac Engineer**

Location : Cary, NC ( Hybrid)

Role Type : Full time Permanent

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Client-facing Lead Engineer representing Mechanical disciplines (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection) for pharmaceutical projects.
  • Lead and support advanced facilities projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Oversee budget, schedule, and technical quality for engineering tasks.
  • Coordinate work activities across multi-disciplinary teams, including design, engineering, and project management.
  • Provide on-site assistance during startup when required.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering growth and technical development.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and construction partners.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 15 years of mechanical engineering and design experience (HVAC, Utilities, Fire Protection, Plumbing).
  • 5 years of Life Sciences consulting engineering experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead medium to large multinational teams.
  • Strong collaboration skills across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Revit or SmartPlant software.
  • Industrial design experience (pharmaceutical manufacturing, semiconductor facilities, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas.
