Acquisition Security Analyst
Requirements
Must have:
– Bachelors degree in a related field; an additional 4 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree. – Over 10 years of relevant experience with acquisition programs. – At least 6 years of experience with SCI programs. – Familiarity with security policies/manuals and pertinent ICDs/JAFANs/DOD Manuals and other guiding documents. – Comprehensive understanding of the DD Form 254 and its role within the Air Force acquisition process. – Willingness to travel as necessary within the Program’s Area of Responsibility (AOR), which may involve extensive air and ground transportation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough lifecycle program analysis to identify critical program information (CPI) and Critical System Resources (CSR), along with their vulnerabilities, and assist in the implementation of countermeasures. – Offer security recommendations to the Program Manager, Government Security Support Officer, and relevant security authorities pertaining to the Air Force acquisition and sustainment process. – Foster a productive relationship with the Program Manager, Contracting Officer, and contractor security officers to ensure standardized and accurate processes for all DD Form 254 activities throughout the acquisition and sustainment lifecycle, in coordination with Program Security Officers. – Analyze foreign intelligence threats to programs related to critical research, sensitive technologies, or CPI. – Create analytical products from various sources, including databases, to ensure timely, customized deliverables. – Draft, review, and edit Security Classification Guides (SCG), Exposure Contingency Plans (ECP), Managed Access Plans (MAP), Security Operating Procedures (SOPs), and System Test Plans (STP). – Provide technical analysis and Operational Security (OPSEC) support for Space and Missile Systems Center or Air Force Space Command Special programs and other associated operations, missions, and elements involved in the development of system requirements for associated RDT&E systems.
