Analyst – Junior Static Data
Job Description
This role is perfect for an individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for data management. You will be part of a dynamic team, working closely with senior analysts and cross-functional partners to ensure accurate and consistent client data across systems. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of client onboarding processes and data governance practices.
Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up and maintaining client entity static data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform data validation checks and escalate issues for resolution.
- Support new client account setups, reviewing and validating data.
- Configure and maintain client account preferences, ensuring changes are accurately documented.
- Follow data governance policies and support routine data quality checks.
- Assist in audit and review processes, providing data and documentation.
- Develop an understanding of regulatory and internal policy requirements.
- Highlight potential data quality issues to senior analysts.
- Collaborate with senior team members and internal stakeholders.
- Actively participate in process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Some experience in data entry, analysis, or client support roles, preferably in financial services.
- Strong attention to detail and a logical, analytical mindset.
- Ability to work with data sets and identify errors.
- Willingness to learn about data governance and regulatory compliance.
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
