Technical Business Analyst

The Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for leading business analysis activities across large-scale, complex system implementations. This role involves overseeing system analysts, defining requirements processes, engaging directly with clients, and ensuring high-quality business and functional documentation. The candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions that meet business objectives.

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Business Analysis or related roles.

  • Proven lead experience managing BA/System Analyst teams.

  • Extensive experience gathering requirements directly from clients (BRD, FSD, SRD, FRS).

  • Experience working on large-scale implementations with:

  • Hundreds of thousands of users

  • Thousands of screens

  • Complex system integrations

  • Strong understanding of data management and data migration across multiple systems.

Tools & Technologies

  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Hands-on experience with requirement and project management tools such as:

  • JIRA, Confluence, Basecamp, Smartsheet, or similar

  • Experience with wireframing and process flow tools such as:

  • MS Visio, LucidChart, Visual Paradigm, SmartDraw, Axure

  • Experience with reporting and BI tools such as:

  • SSRS, Cognos, Tableau, BI Reporting platforms

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Some experience performing Project Management responsibilities (BA/PM hybrid role).
  • Exposure to Agile and/or Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience across diverse industries (e.g., education, healthcare, finance, public sector).
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
