Overview:
The B2C Outbound Call Representative specializes in making outbound sales phone calls/receiving inbound calls to execute product sales and resolve customer service issues on behalf of JR Cigars, CDM, Cigars.com. This person will be expected to use his/her advanced skills and product knowledge to promote, sell and provide best in class service to our B2C Customers.
Responsibilities:

  • Contact prospective customers from approved list by telephone or email

  • Use cigar product knowledge to showcase the promotions being offered

  • Use Business Intelligence tools to track progress with new prospects

  • Report performance against weekly sales goals and objectives to District Manager

  • Maintain regular contact with existing (key) clients to discuss business needs and goals

  • Solicit cigar orders and endeavor to maintain adequate Altadis inventory in all accounts

  • Introduce new brands, sizes and packing to all accounts

  • Develop and maintain business relationships with purchasing contacts

  • Quote prices and credit terms for direct buying customers and prepare approved sales contracts for orders

  • Prepare daily and weekly reports of business transactions for District Manager’s review

  • Initiate and manage 30 calls a day

  • Use Mix & Match approach with for portfolio brand sales and use cigar accessories (lighters/cutters/bags) as value-added incentives

Qualifications:

  • EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Degree or high school diploma from an accredited institution

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Understanding of specialty goods distribution. Complete understanding of Company products and services. Cigar Knowledge required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: o 6 months to 1 year

o Salesforce experience; AS400 a plus

Experience in Outbound call center activities and customer service environment o Hunter attitude with the ability to cold-call prospects o Excellent communication and customer service skills o Enjoy selling on the phone o Proficient with basic computer skills
