Job Title: Data Analytics SpecialistType: HybridDuration: 10 Months (Possible Extension)Location: Philadelphia, PA – 19103Job Summary: Join a cross-functional strategic program that combines process improvement with technology and AI-driven solutions. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be the primary business-facing analytics partner: translating stakeholder questions into data insights, building dashboards and reports, and supporting decisions that drive process change and technical implementation.Key responsibilities

  • Partner with program leads, product, operations, and engineering to understand business problems and define measurable success metrics.
  • Own day-to-day reporting and dashboarding: design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and operational reports that drive stakeholder decisions.
  • Perform hands-on data analysis using SQL and Excel to explore trends, validate hypotheses, quantify opportunity, and measure the impact of changes.
  • Surface actionable recommendations and tell clear data-driven stories for non-technical audiences.
  • Support A/B tests, pilots, and post-launch measurement by defining cohorts, computing outcomes, and evaluating statistical significance where applicable.
  • Document definitions, data sources, and analysis processes; maintain a single source of truth for program metrics.
  • Work closely with data engineering and analytics engineering to ensure data quality, implement required data transformations, and prioritize new data requirements.
  • Proactively identify data or reporting risks and escalate issues with mitigation plans.

Job Requirement:

  • 3–5 years of practical experience in business-facing analytics or program analytics.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience writing complex queries against production data sources.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas) for ad hoc analysis.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining interactive dashboards in Power BI.
  • Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to translate analysis into concise recommendations for business stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of working across teams to deliver insights that lead to operational or process improvements.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with data modeling concepts, BI best practices, and versioned analytics (metrics layer, LookML/DBT awareness).
  • Basic exposure to Python or R for analysis or automation.
  • Experience measuring the impact of technology or AI/ML-led process changes.
  • Knowledge of process improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma) or experience supporting change management with analytics.

Success Metrics (6–12 Months)

  • Become a trusted analytics partner with accurate, business-critical Power BI dashboards regularly used by stakeholders.
  • Establish clear, documented program metrics and measurement processes for pilots and new initiatives.
  • Deliver data-driven recommendations that lead to measurable process or performance improvements.
  • Develop seamless collaboration with data engineering to ensure data quality and operational stability.
