Application Engineer – Water Treatment Solutions

CSG Talent is working with a global leader in sustainable water treatment technologies and is seeking multiple application engineers to join their team. The role offers exposure to a diverse range of projects with a focus on technical excellence and client satisfaction.

Ideally this role would be based in Houston however can be based across Central or Eastern US, with semi-regular travel to one of the firms US sites.

In this role, you’ll prepare technical and commercial proposals, ensuring they align with customer specifications. You’ll provide tailored application solutions and collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers throughout the bidding process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed technical scopes and commercial proposals for customer review.
• Analyze project specifications, equipment requirements, and schedules.
• Recommend technical solutions to address customer needs.
• Generate cost estimates, ensuring accurate pricing with appropriate margins.
• Support regulatory and compliance issues during sales or service projects.
• Assist in project handovers to ensure seamless transitions to Engineering and Operations teams.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 3-8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical and commercial communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with a proactive, self-motivated attitude.
• EIT or PE certification is a bonus.
