Job Description

We are seeking experienced Developer/Programmer Analyst 3 professionals to support a major automation project within a healthcare services environment. The role involves enhancing existing web services and batch processing systems, adding new forms, workflows, and service authorizations.

Job Title: Developer/Programmer Analyst 3

Contract: 6 Month

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Technical Requirements

  • 8 years of experience in:

  • Full SDLC: analysis, design, testing, integration, deployment.

  • Java/J2EE, SQL programming, object-oriented analysis/design.

  • Web Services, RAD, WebSphere.

  • Oracle-based stored procedures.

  • System integration testing, defect management.

  • Developing test plans, scenarios, and schedules.

  • Data structures, migration, relational/multi-dimensional database design.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for design, development, peer reviews, and implementation.

  • Ability to evaluate user requests for feasibility, cost, and timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years working with Texas Health and Human Services systems (or similar state healthcare systems).

Project Overview

Work on an automation initiative for long-term care services, focusing on adding new forms, workflows, and claims processing enhancements.
