job summary:

The Senior Software Developer will function as technical SME on implementation of major projects and will be part of a team that supports Operation Management Systems in STO Computer Operation department. The successful candidate is responsible for system development and vendor implementation efforts, from project initiation through post implementation support while following and enforcing the departments change management process to ensure timing of the changes does not jeopardize the availability and reliability of the systems. They will also be responsible for working on all aspects of new applications development as well as vendor systems implementations: planning, requirements gathering, business analysis, design, development, testing, quality assurance, training, implementation, and on-ongoing technical support. They will also work on day-to-day support of existing applications, problem solving, and issues resolution. They will promote best practices and use of cybersecurity tools and follow procedures and guidelines to ensure complete compliance with the regulatory requirements, including NERC CIP and FERC Standards of Conduct requirements. This job requires the selected individual to be on-call during off-hours on a rotation basis.
