Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SharePoint & Power BI Specialist to join our IT team. This position will be full-time, remote, and is a contract position.
What You ll Do
- Design, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online and On-Prem environments
- Implement Hybrid Cloud Architecture and integrate with Microsoft Azure
- Customize SharePoint using SPFx, Power Automate, Power Apps, and workflows
- Create and manage document libraries, lists, metadata, and web parts
- Set up user access, permissions, and governance policies
- Perform migrations using tools such as ShareGate or Microsoft Migration Tool
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance
- Provide end-user support and training, including backup and recovery procedures
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Build and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations
- Connect Power BI to multiple data sources (SQL Server, Azure SQL, SharePoint, Excel, APIs)
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and dataset security
- Monitor and optimize Power BI service performance, including dataset refresh schedules and gateway configurations
- Troubleshoot slow-performing reports and optimize queries for efficiency
- Document data models, business logic, and report specifications for future reference
What You ll Need Required:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 4 years as a SharePoint Administrator or Developer
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, SQL Server, Office 365, Power BI, and PowerShell
- Familiarity with SharePoint tools (ULS Logs, workflows, forms)
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adhere to SDLC standards and work independently
- KnowledgeLake experience
- Basic knowledge of database tools and procedural languages SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL
- Flexibility to support additional applications and reporting tools as needed
