Pay Rate: $32.25/hour

As a Case Worker, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):Conducting in-home visits, safety assessments, and risk evaluationsInvestigating allegations of abuse and neglectImplementing safety plans to protect children and familiesPreparing court reports and offering professional recommendationsManaging cases independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary teamWhat You’ll Bring:
Education (Required):Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field from an accredited institution (required)Skills & Competencies: Strong documentation skills and time management abilitiesAbility to problem-solve independentlyExperience in conducting home visits and managing casesAbility to manage high case volumesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCultural competency and the ability to work with diverse populationsAdditional Requirements: Completion of Alabama State Department of Human Resources OrientationValid driver’s license and vehicle insurance (Mileage reimbursed!)Candidates previously employed by AL DHR must have a 2-year separationMust report directly to county management staff & travel as assignedJob Type: Full-Time (Contract)
