What you’ll tackle
- Install, connect, and configure OR integration equipment per technical documentation (proposals, port maps, wiring diagrams, infrastructure drawings).
- Terminate and interconnect all cabling; load and configure software; execute test procedures using appropriate instruments.
- Validate final configurations with hospital networks and provide status reports to the project lead.
- Operate with limited direct supervision under an Integration Specialist (I/II) or Integration Project Manager.
- Complete checklists, Siebel entries, time and expense reports accurately and on time.
- Uphold customer protocols and STERIS/customer Health & Safety procedures; maintain professional interactions.
Travel snapshot
- High travel/commute with significant driving and likely overnight stays.
- Nationwide travel via company vehicle or air; typically scheduled 1–3 weeks ahead.
- Mix of day trips, overnight stays, and week-long assignments.
- Hours vary with customer needs; overtime is common but not guaranteed.
Qualifications Required
- HS Diploma/GED 2 years recent cable/AV/electronics installation experience; or Associate’s in Electronics (or similar) 1 year related experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills; knowledge of PCs, video technology, video cabling, and networking.
- Effective customer communication (written and verbal); proficiency with Windows software.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities; willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
Preferred
- Project management experience.
- Biomed/Hospital IT experience.

Pay range for this opportunity is $54,187.50 – $70,125.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation.Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.
