Role Specific InformationJob Description About the Role As Credit Risk Analyst II, you will conduct ad-hoc analysis/project implementation to enhance portfolio performance and develop models to forecast delinquencies, losses and revenues. Additionally, you could analyze portfolio risk of the Kohl’s charge product while developing and implementing strategies that enhance revenues and mitigate losses for the portfolio.What You’ll DoReview standard and intermediate ad hoc analysis requests from business partners for customer, program, offer and/or channel needs.Consult with business partners to identify primary and secondary business analyses and KPIs required to support business decisionsDevelop end-to-end project timelines for analysis deliveriesIdentify and collect primary and secondary data variables to holistically answer business questionsMaintain an understanding of the structure and location of various data sources to be utilizedIndependently pull and manipulate data to determine results and develop data visualizations into relevant conclusionsIdentify and set up processes for data quality checksExecute setup and data pull for analyzing various credit programs, including A/B TestingReview relevant data sets and analyses to develop detailed and informed insights and implications to inform strategy and decisionsOrganize insights, data and visualizations into comprehensive stories for distribution to leadership partners in support of internal business decisionsCreate and analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending moneyDevelop forecasting loss models for delinquencies, contractual, and manual – dollars and unitsDevelop forecasting revenue models — for interest, fees & outstanding – dollars and unitsAdditional tasks may be assignedWhat Skills You HaveRequired Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent2 years’ experience in analyticsBasic SQL and/or SAS skillsSelf-motivated with strong competence with data management, analytics and visualizationBasic experience with Visualization Software like Looker, Tableau, EtcPreferred Experience in modeling data using AIMaster’s Degree or equivalentR/Python programming skillsRetail or Financial services experience in Risk Management particularly Credit Card productEssential Functions The requirements listed below are representative of functions you will be required to perform, however you may be required to perform additional functions.
