Role: OMS Lead

Location: Remote

Duration: Long-term contract

Must Haves

  • Minimum 10 years+ of eCommerce/OMS experience.
  • 3+ years of Kibo Commerce is highly preferred with bonus points for resource knowledge base in other composable OMS solutions like Blue Yonder/Manhattan Active Omni/Fluent Ecommerce OMS/ Sterling OMS experience .
  • Considering composable OMS tech stacks, its highly recommended that the candidate has good knowledge and handson in NodeJS and cloud services.
  • Good hands on experience in developing enterprise microservices applications. Java Springboot being the preferred one.
  • Should possess a good domain understanding of OMS including relating business needs to technical outcomes.
  • Should have deep expertize on both Order Processing as well as Inventory Management and have all the deep knowledge needed for implementing Omni Channel Retail for customers leveraging OMS capabilities starting from eComm TOF use journey.
  • Deep knowledge of integrations via a MW enterprise is sought after primarily since OMS sits as the heart of retail landscape with integrations across enterprises. Knowledge on methodologies used for such integrations, packages and frameworks etc hold great importance.
  • Good hands on experience in at least one of the Cloud Services (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform). AWS will have weightage
  • Knowledge on event driven architecture and reactive microservices programming will be an added advantage
  • Should be aware on general cloud services like API Gateways, Serverless Functions, Message Broker services like Event BEvent Bridge/Kafka/Kinesis etc
  • Good knowledge on API concepts, technologies such as REST, JSON, GraphQL and Swagger
  • Knowledge in integrations via API s and third-party systems (specifically Payment gateway, Fraud check, Address Validations, Tax services etc)
  • Strong knowledge latest web technologies, CI/CD concepts etc
  • Good knowledge on in memory / distributed caching mechanisms like Spring/EhCache or Redis.
  • Good Retail domain knowledge
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies and JIRA

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge working on cloud native environments
  • Added advantage if having experience in integration layers Kafka, Kinesis, payload transformations, adhering to NFRs using the message broker etc
