Manager, Customer Operations (Inbound Virtual Contact Center)
About the Opportunity:
The organization is a pre-IPO startup building a super app to optimize all aspects of car ownership, including insurance, buying/selling, registration, loans, safety, repairs, and parking. This opportunity is for a Manager, Customer Operations to lead the Insurance Operations team, ensuring front-line agents deliver peak performance and drive execution across onshore sales and service teams. The role partners with product, engineering, and analytics to optimize workflows and achieve sales and service goals.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain a high-performance culture for sales and service agents
• Set clear goals, enforce accountability, and implement systems to address underperformance
• Work with team leads to track progress, provide feedback, and ensure key targets are met
• Coach and develop agents through structured feedback and consistent expectations
• Oversee day-to-day execution of sales and/or service teams, aligning with functional leads on priorities
• Diagnose root causes of performance issues and develop action plans to address them
• Implement process improvements and system enhancements with product and engineering teams
• Use data and frontline insights to optimize agent workflows and customer experience
Requirements:
• 2 years managing a similar-sized team of inbound contact center agents in a high-volume, metric-driven environment
• Proven ability to manage through others and hold them accountable for team performance
• Experience using data to diagnose issues and implement operational or behavioral changes
• Track record of driving performance by focusing on inputs, not just outcomes
• Comfort working with onshore and offshore teams, preferably in a tech-forward environment

Compensation:
• The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed on the job posting, determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions
