We are growing quickly and expanding our Mid Market sales team. This role will play a central part in capturing one of the most important segments for the company.

About the Role

The Mid Market Account Executive is responsible for sourcing, managing and closing new business within 4 to 30 location operators in the tire and full service space. Most opportunities will be self sourced and the AE must be comfortable running structured, multi step sales processes with owners, regional directors and operational leaders.

This is a high impact hunter role for someone who thrives in outbound heavy motions and knows how to build and convert pipeline. You will operate with autonomy, collaborate closely with sales leadership and help define how Steer wins in the mid market.

You Will

  • Source and close new business opportunities with 4 to 30 location operators
  • Own the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting to demo to contract
  • Build multi threaded relationships with decision makers and operational stakeholders
  • Create clear business cases and ROI narratives tied to scheduling, CRM and marketing automation workflows
  • Partner with BDRs to validate and advance early stage opportunities
  • Participate in daily sales huddles, coaching sessions and ongoing skill development
  • Maintain strong pipeline hygiene and forecast accuracy in HubSpot
  • Provide structured feedback to Product, Marketing and CS based on mid market buyer needs
  • Represent Steer at industry events and partner engagements when applicable

You Have

Must have: • Proven quota carrying SaaS closing experience

• Demonstrated ability to self source pipeline and drive outbound motions

• Experience running multi step, multi stakeholder sales cycles

• Strong discovery, qualification and objection handling skills

• High ownership, competitive drive and consistent execution

• Excellent communication suited for owners and regional decision makers

• Comfortable operating in a fast moving, high change environment

Nice to have: • Experience selling into automotive, tire, home services or operational industries

• Selling into multi location businesses

• Background with CRM, scheduling or marketing automation tools

• Experience in early stage or growth stage SaaS

• Strong understanding of outbound SDR or BDR partnership

What Success Looks Like

  • Hitting or exceeding the quota of 25 new rooftops per month
  • Generating a consistent volume of self sourced pipeline
  • Achieving strong demo quality, sit rate and win rate
  • Demonstrating disciplined outbound activity and funnel management
  • Building repeatable sales motions for the mid market segment
  • Providing insights that help improve Steer’s positioning and product adoption across multi shop operators
