System Support Technician
Hansen Talent Group is hiring a System Support Technician This role is ideal for someone with strong endpoint-management experience and customer-focused troubleshooting skills.
What You ll Do
*** Deploy infrastructure software, upgrades, patches, new builds, and master images.
- Install, configure, and maintain infrastructure software supporting business processes.
- Create, test, debug, and document custom scripts and utilities.
- Monitor and maintain workstation/server environments to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot issues proactively and serve as an escalation point for the help desk.
- Administer tools for software delivery and remote management.
- Support system recoverability with scheduled backups and archive operations.
- Conduct hardware/software audits to ensure standards and licensing compliance.
- Maintain configuration documentation, inventories, and growth/storage statistics.
- Participate in daily deployment/implementation meetings and document updates or issues as needed.**
What you need:
*** Experience with endpoint management tools: Intune, MECM, BigFix, etc.**
*** Knowledge of deployment tools (SCCM, BigFix, PsTools, McAfee ePO).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Server & Desktop OS (Windows 10, Windows Server 2012/2016).
- Ability to deploy software/OS patches consistently and on schedule.
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving skills; quick learner; detail-oriented.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in team environments.
- A certification
- Nice to Have: Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy, Experience in a Citrix/Terminal Services environment, Familiarity with Citrix Provisioning tools.**
