Salary: $50.00 USD Hourly – $70.00 USD Hourly

++Design Engineer++

++Contract | 6 Months++

++30 Opening with one of My Aerospace client++

++Top Skill Sets:++

  • Aero design

  • Landing gear

  • Hydraulics

  • Structural assessments

  • Weight assessments

  • Integration

  • Propulsion

++Experience:++

  • Need ++experienced++ Design Engineers (level III at a minimum).

  • focus on Designers

  • Experience working through concept and PDR (Preliminary Design Review)

  • Tools: familiarity with CATIA (preferably v. 5), MATLAB

  • MUST have bachelor’s degree

++Preferred Experience:++

  • Ability to assist with supplier SOWs and proposal writing

  • DoD experience preferred but not mandatory. Civilian aircraft design experience is fine, rocket design experience is also ok

  • Prior testing experience

++Responsibilities:++

  • Review requirements and refresh design that was set per those requirements

  • Perform hydraulic system, avionics and structural assessments

  • Assist with design review and requirements review. Ability to explain their area of responsibility in a proposal

  • Perform structural and weight assessments Design Engineer
