Full Time,Day Shift 7am-3:30pm plus 10 call shifts/month. Every 4th wkend call

Prepares patients for clinical procedures and performs continuous critical care assessment of patients. Assists withprocedures and equipment. Aids the Physician in diagnostic evaluation and treatment. Provides shared call coverage for24/7 Cath Lab.

Requirements:

  • Recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred.

  • Candidates without CCL experience, 2 years ICU / PCU / ED required.

  • May consider recent cardiac telemetry / post cardiac cath care experience and can demonstrate critical thinking skills.

  • Graduate from accredited RN Program. BSN preferred.

  • RN license ‒ NH or other Compact State

  • ACLS and BLS required upon hire

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Positions and immobilizes patient on examining table following specified protocols.

  2. Continuous assessment of patient hemodynamics.

  3. Performs conscious sedation.

  4. Mix and maintain IV/IC infusion and bolus.

  5. Alerts Physician to changes in patient responses.

  6. Assists Physician in interventional procedures.

  7. Recovery of patient to Phase

  8. Acts as a liaison between family, patient and Physician.

  9. Performs procedures to include non‒sterile, dressing changes and maintaining aseptic technique.

  10. Performs all duties of staff RN as appropriate.
