Summary –
Seeking an experienced Power Platform Architect (not a Developer) who has previously held Architect and Subject Matter Expert (SME) roles. This role will lead enterprise-level solution design across the Microsoft Power Platform, ensuring scalable, secure, and innovative implementations.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Design
- Lead architecture and design of enterprise PowerApps (Canvas & Model-Driven) and Power Automate solutions.
- Design, build, and deploy custom applications using Power Apps.
- Develop and optimize workflows through Power Automate to streamline business processes.
- Integrate AI using Copilot Studio and AI Builder.
Integration & Development
- Integrate Power Platform applications with Microsoft 365, Azure services, and third-party systems.
- Create Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Conduct solution assessments and code reviews.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Gather and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Participate in customer workshops, Agile ceremonies, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Mentor junior team members and promote a collaborative, innovative engineering culture.
Governance & Documentation
- Develop solution documentation, including architecture diagrams and runbooks.
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and data governance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Power Platform issues.
Basic Qualifications
- BS with 12-15 years of relevant experience OR Master s with 10-13 years.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (or higher) clearance.
- Proficiency with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and Dataverse.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
- Experience integrating Power Platform with Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, Azure DevOps).
- Knowledge of JavaScript, C#, SQL, REST APIs, JSON, and OAuth.
- Must have lived in the U.S. 3 of the last 5 years (CMS requirement).
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse and custom connectors.
- Strong background in data management, governance, and API integrations.
- Experience with SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and large enterprise environments (10,000+ users).
- Agile/Scrum experience and familiarity with DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and ServiceNow.
- Strong communication, leadership abilities, and attention to detail.
