Summary –
Seeking an experienced Power Platform Architect (not a Developer) who has previously held Architect and Subject Matter Expert (SME) roles. This role will lead enterprise-level solution design across the Microsoft Power Platform, ensuring scalable, secure, and innovative implementations.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

  • Lead architecture and design of enterprise PowerApps (Canvas & Model-Driven) and Power Automate solutions.
  • Design, build, and deploy custom applications using Power Apps.
  • Develop and optimize workflows through Power Automate to streamline business processes.
  • Integrate AI using Copilot Studio and AI Builder.

Integration & Development

  • Integrate Power Platform applications with Microsoft 365, Azure services, and third-party systems.
  • Create Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Conduct solution assessments and code reviews.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Gather and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Participate in customer workshops, Agile ceremonies, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Mentor junior team members and promote a collaborative, innovative engineering culture.

Governance & Documentation

  • Develop solution documentation, including architecture diagrams and runbooks.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and data governance standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Power Platform issues.

Basic Qualifications

  • BS with 12-15 years of relevant experience OR Master s with 10-13 years.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (or higher) clearance.
  • Proficiency with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and Dataverse.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
  • Experience integrating Power Platform with Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, Azure DevOps).
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, C#, SQL, REST APIs, JSON, and OAuth.
  • Must have lived in the U.S. 3 of the last 5 years (CMS requirement).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse and custom connectors.
  • Strong background in data management, governance, and API integrations.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and large enterprise environments (10,000+ users).
  • Agile/Scrum experience and familiarity with DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and ServiceNow.
  • Strong communication, leadership abilities, and attention to detail.
