Job Title: GIS Project Manager

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage project-specific services for developing GIS products and platforms, including custom applications, spatial data analysis, and real-time geospatial data processing.
  • Oversee projects that enhance urban planning, transportation, utilities, and emergency services through advanced data visualization.
  • Lead project teams using agile and lean methodologies to ensure iterative progress and alignment with user feedback.
  • Coordinate the integration of GIS applications and platforms with other enterprise systems to ensure interoperability.
  • Ensure the project team conducts user research and maintains feedback loops for GIS tools.
  • Manage project scope to deliver mobile-friendly GIS solutions while ensuring platform scalability and data security.
  • Oversee platform engineering tasks, including the design of cloud-based infrastructure, server optimization, and implementation of RESTful GIS APIs.

Required Skills and Methodologies

  • Methodologies: Agile, Lean, Iterative Development.

  • Technical Familiarity:

  • GIS product development using ESRI tools.

  • Spatial data analysis for decision-making.

  • Cloud-based GIS platforms and infrastructure modernization.
