Role Overview

As a Sector Evaluator — Marketing (AI Evaluation), you will leverage your deep marketing domain knowledge to evaluate, train, and fine-tune AI models, ensuring they understand marketing concepts, workflows, and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Domain Training & Annotation
  • Provide domain expertise to help train AI systems on marketing terminology, logic, and workflows.
  • Label, curate, and validate marketing datasets, including materials like ad copy, campaign briefs, customer segments, and KPIs.
  • Create realistic marketing scenarios and data prompts for training AI, including brand launches, A/B testing, and multichannel campaigns.
  1. Workflow Simulation & Process Mapping
  • Translate end-to-end marketing workflows (e.g., campaign planning → execution → measurement → optimization) into structured training data for AI systems.
  • Identify decision points, metrics, and dependencies in marketing operations for AI learning.
  • Collaborate with ML engineers to represent these workflows in AI-friendly formats such as taxonomies or knowledge graphs.
  1. Model Evaluation & Feedback
  • Evaluate AI-generated outputs for marketing relevance, creativity, tone, and brand consistency.
  • Provide structured feedback and strategies to improve model understanding and response quality.
  • Develop and refine evaluation criteria such as campaign effectiveness, audience relevance, and brand consistency.
  1. Strategic Collaboration & Innovation
  • Partner with product teams to define AI-driven marketing use cases (e.g., campaign recommendations, content personalization, audience segmentation, performance prediction).
  • Identify opportunities where AI can enhance marketing efficiency and decision-making.
  • Stay current with the latest marketing technologies, data platforms, and generative AI tools to inform model enhancements.

Required Qualifications

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Professional Experience:

  • 7–12 years of hands-on experience in marketing, with exposure to:
  • Campaign strategy and execution (digital, social, performance, and brand marketing).
  • Marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo).
  • Analytics and measurement workflows (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker, Power BI).
  • Customer segmentation, journey mapping, and content strategy.
  • Media planning, A/B testing, and ROI optimization.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Proven ability to translate real-world marketing problems into structured data or process documentation.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain complex marketing logic to technical teams.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with data science, product, or engineering teams.

Ideal Workflow Experience:

  • Campaign Lifecycle Management: Brief creation, creative development, approval, launch, tracking, and post-campaign analysis.
  • Performance Marketing: Keyword research, bidding strategy, conversion tracking, and A/B testing.
  • CRM & Marketing Automation: Lead scoring, email campaigns, segmentation, and customer retention.
  • Content Strategy & Social Media: Editorial calendar planning, content generation, influencer marketing, and engagement analytics.
  • Data-Driven Marketing: Using data to optimize campaigns, build dashboards, and interpret KPIs.
  • Brand & Communication: Managing tone, consistency, and storytelling across channels.
