Remote Clinical Staffing & Deployment Specialist (4 Positions)

Location: 100% Fully Remote

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday — Friday

Contract Details: Starts as a 3-5 month contract with potential for extension and opportunities to apply for permanent positions.

We are seeking four highly motivated and independent Remote Clinical Staffing & Deployment Specialists to support the centralized staffing coordination for a major hospital network. These roles are critical to maintaining optimal operational coverage by managing daily staffing needs, deploying on-call personnel, and coordinating urgent shift coverage across multiple units.

This is a new role that requires a professional demeanor, creative thinking, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic, employee-facing environment.

Multiple Openings & Shift Schedules (Monday — Friday)

7:00 AM — 4:00 PM (EST/PST conversion based on location)

Top Daily Responsibilities

  • Day-of Staffing Coordination: Manage real-time staffing assignments for central hospital areas, ensuring appropriate coverage relative to patient census.
  • Urgent Deployment & Outreach: Proactively outreach to individuals who are on-call or require shift coverage to fill immediate staffing gaps (including sick calls).
  • Scheduling Management: Maintain and update staff schedules, demonstrating a strong understanding of hospital staffing metrics and the impact of scheduling on census demands.
  • Weekend Coordination: Support weekend coverage processes for the Staffing Office (when required by the deployment schedule).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Computer Literacy: High degree of computer literacy and proficiency in basic scheduling and administrative software (e.g., Microsoft Suite).
  • Professionalism: Exceptional professionalism and clear communication in a fast-paced, employee-facing environment.
  • Independence & Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability for creative thinking and working independently without direct supervision to solve complex deployment and coverage issues.
  • Experience: 3+ years of administrative experience, staffer experience, or hospital experience is strongly preferred.
