The EDI Analyst will be responsible for managing the EDI system and transactions. It is a critical position to ensure the success of EDI usage and will be the primary point of contact to work with customers and resolve EDI issues.

++Experience:++

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve EDI issues and errors in a timely and efficient manner
  • Act as liaison between teams such as IT, Logistics, Finance and Sales teams to resolve EDI issues
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to increase EDI volume, capabilities, and performance
  • Work directly with customers to facilitate EDI onboarding, offboarding, and issue resolution
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal users and trading partners on EDI-related matters
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) including the ability to communicate ideas within the team, resolve differences and fully support the customer
  • Demonstrate analytical skills and ability to review EDI data and make recommendations about corrective actions to internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain and update EDI documentation, standards, and procedures
  • Stay abreast of the latest EDI trends, technologies, and regulations in the healthcare industry
  • Adhere to the quality management system as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures
  • Understand relevant security, privacy and compliance principles and adhere to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the company.
  • Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned

++Experience:++

  • 4+ years of EDI experience
  • Experience with the GHX EDI platform highly desirable
  • Experience with 800/900 EDI series transactions
  • Ability to manage EDI projects and customers
  • Experience in the healthcare/medical device industry dealing with hospital customers preferred
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously.
