Job Title: Java Developer Location: New Jersey / New York (Remote to start) Employment Type: W2 Only (GC, USC, GC-EAD, H4-EAD, and L2S / L2-EAD) Overview

  • We are looking for a skilled Java Developer local to the NY/NJ area. The role will begin remote, but the client may request on-site availability in New Jersey in 2026.
  • You should expect a hybrid schedule, likely once a week or as needed, based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build and manage event-driven applications leveraging Kafka.
  • Work with Camunda for workflow and process orchestration.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries and support database-related tasks.
  • Collaborate with teams to deploy and maintain applications on Azure Cloud.
  • Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka
  • Proficiency in Camunda orchestration
  • Solid SQL and database experience
  • Experience working with Azure Cloud
  • Must be local to NJ/NY and open to onsite work when required
