Scrum Master
This is a remote position.
Overview
We are seeking a collaborative, facilitation-focused Scrum Master to support Agile teams in delivering high-quality products and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is an advocate for Agile values, an excellent communicator, and someone who can balance coaching with practical, day-to-day project guidance.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Facilitation

Lead daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

Ensure clarity on sprint goals, team commitments, and progress

Support the Product Owner in maintaining a well-defined and prioritized backlog

Shield the team from distractions to maintain focus and flow
Team Support & Coaching

Coach team members on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and frameworks
-
Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Identify team bottlenecks and help remove impediments proactively

Foster transparency, trust, and open communication across the team
Delivery & Process Improvement

Track team performance metrics such as velocity, burndown, and cycle time

Facilitate root-cause analysis to improve delivery consistency

Encourage experimentation, iterative learning, and incremental value delivery

Optimize workflows using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
Stakeholder Collaboration

Communicate progress, risks, and timelines clearly to stakeholders

Support coordination between engineering, product, design, QA, and other teams

Ensure alignment between sprint work, product roadmap, and business objectives

Contribute to cross-team Agile practices or scaling frameworks (Scrum of Scrums, SAFe, LeSS, etc.)
Qualifications
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)

1–3 years of experience in Agile/Scrum environments (internships or team coordination experience count)
Technical & Agile Skills

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework

Hands-on experience with Agile tools (Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps, ClickUp, Monday.com, etc.)

Ability to analyze team data and support data-driven decision-making
-
Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) is an asset
