Embark on a compelling journey as a Registered Nurse in Med Surg, based in the scenic city of Greeley, Colorado. This is more than a bedside role—it’s a chance to shape recovery, comfort families, and elevate your clinical leadership in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment. You’ll begin on 01/05/2026, bringing your expertise to a unit that values precision, empathy, and teamwork. With guaranteed hours of 24 per week and a competitive weekly pay range of $1,915 to $2,050, your skills will be rewarded as you deliver high-quality care across diverse patient populations. In this role, you’ll be supported by a robust infrastructure designed to help you thrive—from streamlined onboarding and ongoing clinical education to a network of peers who share your commitment to excellence. Picture yourself making a tangible difference every shift while enjoying the beauty and culture of Colorado, and the professional stability that comes from a dedicated traveling nursing program.

Colorado’s natural beauty and vibrant communities await whenever you step off the unit. Nestled along the Front Range, Colorado offers endless outdoor adventures—hiking in foothills, skiing in winter, and scenic drives that showcase dramatic mountain vistas. Greeley itself presents a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere with thriving local arts, dining, and farm-to-table experiences. In addition, the program provides the flexibility to work across multiple locations in the U.S., expanding your professional horizons and exposing you to a variety of patient populations, hospital settings, and clinical protocols. This combination of a supportive base in Greeley and opportunities to travel to other rewarding sites creates a uniquely empowering platform for your nursing career. You’ll gain exposure to different health systems, collaborate with diverse teams, and build a versatile portfolio that demonstrates adaptability, resilience, and clinical mastery.

In this Med Surg RN role, your day-to-day responsibilities are centered on delivering patient-centered care with clinical rigor. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vitals and evolving clinical status, manage IV therapies and medication administration with accuracy, and respond swiftly to changes in patient conditions. You’ll contribute to wound care, post-operative recovery, and telemetry when indicated, ensuring timely documentation and alignment with care plans. Your role will include effective discharge teaching, patient and family education, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate smooth transitions of care. You’ll participate in care rounds, interpret data to support evidence-based decisions, and uphold infection control and safety standards. The ideal candidate embraces professional growth—seeking opportunities to pursue specialty certifications, participate in unit-based quality improvement, and take on mentorship roles as extension opportunities become available. The position promises a dynamic mix of routine clinical work and complex cases that sharpen critical thinking, clinical judgment, and compassionate communication.

To complement your clinical responsibilities, you’ll benefit from strong, tangible support designed to ensure your success as a traveling RN. The package includes a sign-on or performance bonus where applicable, housing assistance to ease relocation and daily living, and clear extension opportunities that invite you to grow with the program over time. You’ll have access to 24/7 support from a dedicated travel clinical staffing team, ensuring that you’re never navigating challenges alone—whether it’s travel logistics, unit acclimation, or urgent staffing adjustments. The program emphasizes a collaborative culture where preceptors, managers, and corporate partners align to remove barriers to your clinical excellence. As you progress, you’ll find pathways for expanded responsibilities, leadership exposure, and continued clinical education that reinforce your trajectory in the Med Surg specialty.
