About the Role
A leading real estate investment firm is seeking an Assistant to join its Portfolio Management team, supporting the oversight and performance of a national commercial real estate portfolio. This role provides hands-on exposure to data analysis, financial modeling support, portfolio reporting, cross-functional collaboration, and day-to-day portfolio operations. The firm values professionalism, accuracy, organization, and a strong desire to build a long-term career in commercial real estate.
Key Responsibilities

Gather, organize, and analyze portfolio data, files, and third-party research to support decision-making.

Maintain and coordinate internal portfolio documents, models, folders, and reporting materials.

Assist with updates to ARGUS and Excel models, including rent rolls, operating expenses, and capital planning inputs.

Review tenant lease documents and financial statements to extract key terms and data points.

Partner with Asset Management and Accounting teams to collect and verify necessary information.

Prepare charts, graphs, presentations, and spreadsheets for meetings, senior leadership, clients, and consultants.

Support Business Intelligence initiatives, including data importing, reporting, and system tasks.

Coordinate team meetings and maintain documentation for ongoing portfolio discussions.

Contribute to special analytical projects and ad hoc requests for management and internal stakeholders.
Key Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.

0–2 years of experience in real estate, financial analysis, accounting, or related fields.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ARGUS experience is a plus.

Demonstrated interest in commercial real estate and long-term industry growth.
