What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments following company protocols and provider schedules
• Maintain accurate documentation with patient medical records
• Meet department KPI metrics related to quality and appointment scheduling
• Ensure high levels of customer service are provided by patient access staff
• Work on special projects and perform other related duties as needed

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High school diploma, GED/HSED, or equivalent
• 1 year of recent medical office experience in a similar capacity preferred
• Must possess excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
• Proficient in basic computer functions

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with dermatology and medical aesthetic definitions/procedures
• Understanding of insurance health plans
• Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute
• Must display a friendly, cheerful, tactful, and polite demeanor
• Must be able to understand and spell dermatologic medical terms and prescriptions
