What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Answer inbound patient scheduling calls and address concerns while meeting department service level goals
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments accurately following practice protocols
• Collect and perform data entry of patient demographics and insurance information
• Utilize professional communication skills to assist patients and de-escalate any dissatisfied customer situations
• Maintain confidentiality and provide exceptional customer service to all clients

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of two years of related experience in a medical setting or one year in a healthcare call center/customer service, or three or more years in a call center
• Proficient in Windows Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn specialized applications
• Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy with the ability to multitask
• Must reside in the United States

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Ability to type a minimum of 25 words per minute
• Basic healthcare knowledge
