QA Analyst
Location & Work Arrangement
- City, State: Richmond, Virginia
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite as needed).
- Contract: This is a Contract position.
- Mode of Interview: Both Web Cam and In-Person Interview.
- Residency Note: Candidate must physically reside within the US.
Key Responsibilities and Focus Areas
OUTA Automation and Development
- Script Creation (3 Years): Develop and maintain automation scripts using Oracle Utilities Testing Accelerator (OUTA) for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Coding Expertise: Implement and customize Groovy scripts within OUTA to handle dynamic data, validations, and conditional business logic. Strong experience with Java and XML is required.
- Framework Design: Design reusable test assets and templates within the OUTA framework, including XML configuration files, data setup scripts, and test component definitions.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate OUTA with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps) for automated regression execution and continuous delivery.
Oracle CCS Domain Testing
- Application Expertise: Hands-on experience (3 years) with Oracle Utilities Customer Cloud Services (CCS) and Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) is mandatory.
- Data-Driven Testing: Perform data-driven testing by parameterizing input datasets to simulate real-world utility scenarios (billing, payments, meter reads, collections, etc.).
- Validation: Develop validation logic for UI screens, REST/SOAP web services, and integration endpoints (using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)).
- Release Management: Support Oracle patch and upgrade testing (CCS Upgrades) using automation to validate regression stability.
Leadership and Knowledge Transfer
- Mentorship: Act in a mentor role for City resources who will be shadowing the testing activities to gain competency in OUTA usage and eventually assume ownership of regression testing.
- Analysis & Collaboration: Generate and analyze execution reports, identify failed cases, provide root cause analysis, and collaborate closely with functional testers and developers to align scope with release timelines.
