Software Engineer – Java and Python

Requirements

Must have:

– Active security clearance with a polygraph is mandatory. – A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required, or a combination of education and four years of relevant experience. – A minimum of fourteen years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is essential. – Proficiency in Python and recent C++ (2018 or newer) is needed. – Experience in UI development using Ellipse and PieChart is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer, I will: – Analyze user requirements to extract software design and performance needs. – Design and code new software or modify existing software to incorporate new features. – Integrate existing software into newly defined or modified systems or operating environments. – Develop and modify software systems, employing scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes of design. – Design or implement intricate algorithms adhering to strict timing, resource, or interface constraints and ensure a high quality of all produced software.
