Social Media Content Specialist – English – Remote in US
About the Opportunity:
The organization is a fully remote team specializing in social media management for brands, with a focus on content creation, moderation, and community engagement. The Social Media Content Specialist role supports the mission of fostering safe and engaging digital communities by moderating conversations and creating content for clients’ social channels. This position is open to U.S. residents and requires flexibility across day, evening, and overnight shifts, including weekends.
Responsibilities:
• Moderate and respond to comments on clients’ social channels using each brand’s unique voice.
• Write engaging content to spark conversations and drive engagement.
• Ensure online communities remain safe, respectful, and aligned with client guidelines.
• Escalate issues, insights, or trends to internal teams as needed.
• Understand and represent clients’ brand strategies, tone, and audiences.
Requirements:
• High-level proficiency in English with strong cultural awareness. Fluency in additional languages is an asset.
• Strong written communication skills in English. Additional languages are an asset.
• Permanent residency and legal ability to work in the USA.
• Availability to work two of three shift options, including weekends (8AM–4PM, 4PM–12AM, 12AM–8AM Central Time).
• Professional experience managing, moderating, and engaging on social platforms.
• Ability to write for brands and adapt tone for different audiences.
• Knowledge of major social media platforms.
• Interest in the content areas being moderated (tech, retail, food, hospitality, tourism, etc.).
• Organized, reliable, and strong customer service skills.
• Fast, reliable internet with no data restrictions.
• Active Facebook account.

Compensation:
• The hourly pay range for this position is $14.75 to $15.00 USD.
• Actual hourly pay within the hourly range will be based on experience, knowledge, and skills.
