Software Engineer – SAP CALM
Requirements
Must have:
– A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience; typically requires 3 years or more. – Preferred experience includes familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, CALM, SOLDoc, BPMon, and/or SAP Basis.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of SAP Cloud ALM and BTP CALM tools for lifecycle management across hybrid and cloud environments. – Set up monitoring, alerting, test automation, and release pipelines utilizing SAP Cloud ALM, CI/CD, and GitHub. – Develop and integrate with tools such as Solman, Jira, Postman, and SAP BTP services (e.g., BAS, CAP). – Harness APIs, SAP Event Mesh, and Fiori applications for proactive operations and service delivery. – Enhance system health, deployment tracking, and analytics through ALM reporting dashboards. – Provide guidance to ensure that SAP Solution Manager and CHARM operations, in collaboration with both internal and external service providers, meet targets and contractual commitments. – Conduct thorough reviews of SOLMAN and CHARM processes, focusing on functionalities like SOLdoc and BpMOn with both internal teams and suppliers. – Propose and implement enhancements to standard and moderately complex SOLMAN and CHARM processes and procedures. – Analyze and prioritize deliverables related to change requests using tools like SAP Solution Manager, Remedy, and Power BI. – Act as the primary liaison with suppliers offering SAP Solution Manager and CHARM services.
