Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Salary: $45.00 USD Hourly – $48.00 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Test Automation Engineer (SDET) to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and strategies. This role involves building scalable test solutions, mentoring team members, and driving quality initiatives across the enterprise.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

  • Write code, scripts or procedures to test systems and/or controls.
  • Ensure proper procedures and controls are in place throughout the development process
  • Review engineering deliverables, and ensures proper procedures and controls are in place
  • Responsible for reporting and tracking issues.
  • Responsible for planning, design and development of appropriate automated tests for all areas of responsibility.
  • Design, Develop, setup and maintain automation frameworks
  • Responsible for setting, planning, designing, and implementing the automation architecture and development strategies
  • Responsible for code review and compliance to automation standards
  • Participate in improvement of automation standards and ensure implementation with relevant teams
  • Train/mentor other automation engineers
  • Champion quality and automation within the enterprise
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Test manually and through automation scripting the customizations

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 5 years of programming, developing automation, creating automation frameworks or other directly related work experience.
  • Extensive experience with software test automation tools, software design methodologies, automation frameworks, platforms, related systems and technologies.
  • Experience in BaNCS UI
  • Proficient in Provar, Java, vbscript, Python, Playwright
  • Proficient in SQL and relational databases-Oracle, Teradata
  • Extensive experience with REST API Automation using tools (ReadyAPI, Postman)
  • Must have strong analytical, organizational, problem resolution, customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written to effectively relate data to coworkers
  • Experience with BDD and TDD practices and tools (Serenity, Cucumber, jbehave)
  • Experience with Salesforce, Provar Automation, Selenium
  • Experience with Azure Dev Ops (repos, builds, pipelines), Jenkins, Chef, XL Release, Maven
  • Experience with pipelines and containers (CICD)
  • Experience with cloud technologies
