You’ll join a team that values compassionate care, clinical excellence, and the daily impact of dedicated nursing. This assignment is designed to empower you to grow within med-surg specialties while enjoying the beauty and pace of life in the Nebraska panhandle. Picture yourself making a difference amid rolling plains, clear skies, and a community that treats healthcare heroes like the trusted partners they are. Beyond Scottsbluff, our travel program opens doors to additional locations across the United States, letting you expand your horizons while maintaining the core of support you rely on.
Nebraska’s allure goes beyond its welcoming towns and expansive skies. Scottsbluff sits alongside the North Platte River, near scenic vantage points like Scotts Bluff National Monument and the Niobrara Valley, where outdoor adventures and peaceful evenings create a balanced backdrop for demanding clinical work. In this region, you’ll discover affordable living, community events, and a pace of life that honors rest as much as recovery. Should you wish to explore other places during your assignment, the program enables placements in diverse U.S. settings, offering enriching experiences—from bustling metropolitan areas to quiet rural communities—each with distinct patient populations and learning opportunities that will broaden your professional portfolio and personal story.
In this Med Surg RN role, you’ll manage a broad spectrum of patient care responsibilities with autonomy and collaboration. You’ll assess and plan with precision, monitor critical indicators, administer medications, and deliver evidence-based interventions that promote healing and comfort. You’ll partner with physicians, therapists, and support teams to coordinate care, educate patients and families, and advocate for discharge planning and continuity of care. The position is structured to support your growth in specialty knowledge—whether you’re refining wound care techniques, enhancing post‑op monitoring, or coordinating complex care transitions. You’ll benefit from a robust benefits package and a favorable compensation structure that includes a competitive weekly range, a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week, and a pathway to extended assignments. In addition to strong pay, you may be eligible for a sign‑on bonus, and you’ll have access to comprehensive housing assistance to simplify your relocation and housing search. The role also emphasizes growth through extension opportunities, enabling you to deepen your Med Surg expertise while building lasting professional relationships.
Support is at the heart of the experience. You won’t travel alone: a dedicated team provides 24/7 assistance as you move between facilities, navigate shift changes, and adapt to new patient populations. You’ll have ongoing access to clinical educators and peer mentors who help you refine skills, stay current with best practices, and advance toward certification goals. This program is designed to respect your time, your development, and your well-being, with resources that remove barriers so you can focus on delivering exceptional patient care and advancing in your nursing career.
Our company values your contribution and commits to empowering your professional journey. We cultivate a culture of respect, continuous learning, and upward mobility, where experienced nurses mentor newer teammates and success is celebrated at every level.
