Now hiring an experienced Quality Control Inspector for a Cable manufacturing company in Milton, FL.

++POSITION DESCRIPTION:++
We are an ++ISO-9001++ Certified OEM manufacturer and we are looking for a ++knowledgeable++ Quality Control Inspector. The selected individual will be part of a growing, fast paced global manufacturer and will report to the Quality Assurance Manager. The Quality Control Inspector will perform daily inspection of ALL incoming materials, in-process materials, and final assembly materials and then complete all necessary reports.

++COMPETENCIES & SKILLS:++

  • Must be able to read basic electrical drawings/or assembly drawings.
  • Must be able to use a variety of measurement equipment such as tape measures, calipers, gauges, and micrometers (in both Metric and Standard units of measure).
  • Must have previous ISO-9001or comparable QMS experience.
  • Must have better than average computer skills.
  • Previous experience w/ wire, cable, wire harnesses, elec. assembly/testing ++is preferred++ but NOT required.

++DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:++

  • Perform incoming inspection on specific products identified by management as critical.
  • Perform daily in-process inspection.
  • Perform basic lab tests on random samples of incoming materials for lab testing as required by management.
  • Perform daily finished goods inspection
  • Perform equipment calibrations as required.
  • Complete all documentation as it relates to the daily inspection process or lab test.
  • Assist in the processing of Returned Goods for the field and issue appropriate reports.
  • Other duties as deemed appropriate by management.

++EXPERIENCE:++

  • MINIMUM of 1 year experience with reading/interpreting basic electrical assembly drawings.
  • MINIMUM of 1 year experience working with computers AND proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
  • At least 1-Year of Quality Control experience is ++preferred but++ ++NOT required++.

++EDUCATION:++

High school Diploma (or equivalent) isrequired.

++PAY:++
Starts at: $15/hr. — $18/hr. (Depending On Experience)

++SCHEDULE:++
Full-Time — All shifts are 12-hr’s
Day Shift = 7:30am – 7:30pm

ALL hours over 40-hrs will be paid at “Time-and-a-half”
You are open to work more hours if they are available

++REQUIREMENTS:++

  • Must complete a pre-employment background check (having something on your record does NOT eliminate you from this position, we take everything on an individual “case-by-case” basis)
  • Mustbe able to pass a drug test.
  • Must have Steel-toed boots.
  • Must have RELIABLE transportation to Milton FL.
