Vice President, Front-End Engineer

About the Role
BNY is a global leader in financial services, influencing nearly 20 percent of the world’s investible assets. As a Vice President and Front-End Engineer within the Enterprise Transformation Organization, you will lead the development of modern, high-quality user interfaces that support BNY’s digital strategy and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the development of robust front-end applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product teams, and back-end engineers to deliver unified, high-quality digital experiences.
- Ensure strong code quality through best practices, including code reviews, testing, standards, and documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement by staying current with industry trends and emerging front-end technologies.
- Mentor and support junior developers to encourage growth, knowledge sharing, and team excellence.
- Align development work with BNY’s strategic goals, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced front-end certifications are a plus.
- Typically 5 to 9 years of professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in front-end programming languages and frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
