About The Role We are seeking a Principal Business Systems Analyst to spearhead our next-generation data compliance initiatives, integrating AI and ML capabilities into our data privacy and regulatory adherence strategies. This pivotal role involves ensuring that our platforms, applications, and processes across global go-to-market (GTM) routes adhere to applicable data privacy laws and regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of regulatory expertise, technological proficiency, and strategic business acumen to support compliant, context-aware GTM solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Legal, Infosec, IT, Data & AI, Sales, Partner Ecosystem, and Corporate Marketing within Red Hat and IBM, to implement scalable, automated compliance processes and AI-driven solutions that safeguard data privacy while enabling business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems Security, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Relevant data privacy and compliance certifications (e.g., CIPP, CISSP, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in data compliance, privacy, and security regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, etc.
- Hands-on experience supporting AI/ML solution design and implementation with a focus on compliance
- Proven ability to design and manage scalable end-to-end business processes and technical solutions
- Experience guiding architectural decisions that support long-term strategic goals
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex regulatory and technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment across multiple time zones
Responsibilities
- Serve as the domain expert to implement data compliance across Red Hat’s enterprise data environment, AI solutions, core business platforms, and global GTM processes
- Lead the automation of manual compliance processes by partnering with process automation and engineering teams to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Influence the design and deployment of compliance agentic solutions that integrate seamlessly into existing platforms and workflows
- Consult with Sales, Marketing, and Partner teams to develop AI solutions aligned with compliance guardrails and regulatory requirements
- Translate complex global data privacy and compliance regulations into actionable technical specifications for platform and process implementation
- Maintain and update the knowledge repository and enablement resources related to data compliance, collaborating with legal and privacy teams worldwide
- Partner with legal, privacy, and compliance stakeholders to stay abreast of evolving data privacy laws across different regions
- Address queries or escalations related to data compliance issues in collaboration with IBM and Red Hat legal and compliance teams
