International Sales Manager Position – Remote
House of Sillage is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Manager to lead our global sales strategy and help achieve our ambitious growth objectives. The Sales Manager will oversee all sales operations, including distribution and channel development, pricing strategy, CRM management, and revenue performance. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong cross-cultural communication skills, and a proven ability to execute across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with domestic retailers and international distributors.
· Identify new business opportunities, expand existing relationships, and drive new client acquisition.
· Oversee and manage all CRM activities, ensuring accurate data, pipeline tracking, and client segmentation.
- Resolve client issues with professionalism and urgency, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
- Manage communication and collaboration between clients and internal teams across departments.
- Lead contract negotiations and establish frameworks for timely, mutually beneficial agreements.
- Forecast inventory and sell-through performance; maintain purchase order projections by category.
- Partner with design, marketing, and operations teams to ensure premium product delivery.
- Process and manage sales orders from initiation through fulfillment, ensuring accuracy, timely delivery, and alignment with customer requirements.
- Leverage prior experience in fragrance or luxury beauty to drive brand positioning, sales strategy, and client engagement.
- Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Train and support sales representatives who work with distributors to ensure consistent brand messaging, product knowledge, and sales execution across all markets.
- Maintain key customer relationships and develop strategies to grow the company’s customer base.
- Provide regular performance updates and insights to senior management.
- Maintain accurate international pricing, sales data, and activity records.
- Design and implement targeted sales and marketing programs for global regions.
- Stay informed on international business practices, cultural considerations, and compliance requirements.
- Cultivate and sustain strategic international business partnerships.
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of national and international sales experience, with a proven ability to manage accounts and drive revenue growth across multiple markets.
- Fragrance industry experience required — ideally with luxury brands or prestige beauty.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently in a remote (work-from-home) environment.
- Willingness to travel approximately 15–30% of the time, including attendance at approximately three key trade shows and client meetings.
- Proven experience training and mentoring sales teams, particularly those supporting distributor relationships.
- Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding defined sales targets and revenue goals.
- Proven experience managing CRM platforms.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience with major domestic retailers and international distributors.
- Strong negotiation skills with a solid understanding of global supply chains and contract structuring.
- Hands-on and detail-oriented — must also be comfortable processing and managing sales orders to ensure smooth execution from start to finish.
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively across all organizational levels, including C-suite.
- Demonstrated experience managing the full sales process from strategy to close.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience preferred.
