UI/UX Design Engineer
Location & Work Arrangement
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Required On-site presence).
- Contract: This is a Contract position. (Initial contract is through the end of the fiscal year, with expected renewal.)
- Candidate Requirement: Local Candidates only.
- Mode of Interview: Either Web Cam or In Person Interview.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Front-End Development
- User-Centered Design: Collaborate with Business Analysts to gather requirements and translate them into functional, user-friendly, and responsive web interfaces.
- Coding & Frameworks: Translate UI/UX designs into code using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (with experience in frameworks like React or Vue.js).
- Leadership & Feasibility: Take ownership of design alignment, provide guidance/mentorship, and work closely with technical leaders to ensure design solutions are technically feasible and meet project goals.
- Accessibility: Apply strong knowledge of accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and best practices for inclusive design.
Web Analytics & Optimization
- Tracking Implementation: Implement and maintain tracking tools such as Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager, Hotjar, or Mixpanel to measure website traffic and user engagement.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze key performance metrics (bounce rates, conversion funnels, session times) to generate actionable insights and inform UX improvements.
- Validation: Conduct A/B testing to validate design and content decisions, generating measurable UX or Business Impact insights.
- Reporting: Generate periodic reports on user engagement, retention, CRO, website speed, and SEO scores.
