Role: Networking Expert

Location: Chantilly, VA (Onsite)

Type: Contract

Main Responsibilities:

Advanced Support and Consulting:

  • Assist internal users in defining and building filtering rules.
  • Industrialize major changes (e.g., full site opening/closure, adapting rules across all firewalls).

Automation and Scripting:

  • Create, maintain, and use scripts to automate recurring tasks (rules, configurations, etc.).

Advanced Firewall Management:

  • Expertise in Cisco ASA/Firepower (mandatory), advanced management via FMC.
  • Clean up and optimize Force point configurations, prepare logical segmentation between divisions.

Complementary Solutions Management:

  • Correct Algosec configurations (routing, adding segments, baselines).
  • Advanced management of Ubika WAF tunnels (duplication, adaptation, certificate renewal, migration follow-up, troubleshooting).
  • Analyze, propose, and implement changes to Aruba Clear Pass (cleanup, evolving authentication configuration).

Documentation and Technical Reference:

  • Update documentation, serve as a single point of contact for certain topics.

Coaching and Team Support:

  • Coach and support the team (up to 3 people).
  • Contribute to the infrastructure evolution strategy.

Profile Sought:

  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Technical training or equivalent professional experience.
  • Expertise in Cisco ASA/Firepower (mandatory).
  • Experience with Force point, Aruba, Algosec, Ubika WAF is a plus.
  • Ability to industrialize, automate, and optimize processes.
  • Leadership, analytical mindset, and proactive approach.
