Role Description
This is a remote, contract position for a Food Safety Consultant. The consultant will work directly with food and beverage manufacturers to provide guidance on implementing and maintaining SQF standards and other regulatory compliance measures. Responsibilities include conducting quality audits, assessing and improving quality assurance protocols, advising on food safety processes, and ensuring conformity with industry and regulatory standards. The consultant will leverage their expertise in food safety and quality assurance to support clients in developing sustainable and effective operations.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Food Science and the Food Industry
- Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance and Food Safety practices
- Experience in Quality Auditing and applying regulatory standards
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience with SQF or other food safety standards is highly valued
