Job Description Job Description: Business/QA Analysts work with project managers, development managers, technical architects, other analysts, developers and business users on business requirements, application design specifications, and testing. The role is responsible for ensuring that business requirements are properly addressed in functional and test case design and execution.

Job Components

• Participates in projects to design, test, and deploy applications to ensure the system is meeting the defined business requirements.

• Communicate effectively with all members of the team to fully understand business requirements and project deliverables.

• Develops functional documentation from business requirements and drives review and approval with all stakeholders.

• Responsible for reviewing user stories and acceptance criteria to design functional documentation and test cases.

• Plan, create and execute test cases to ensure delivered functionality meets requirements defined in approved documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to think logically and practically
• Effective listening, comprehending, and verbal and written communication skills to communicate promptly to partners and to understand and address their needs.
• Familiar with software development lifecycle, functional design documentation, and testing practices.
• Experience in Agile based project management environment.
• 2+ years experience testing mobile device, desktop, and web applications
• 2+ years experience in functional design documentation
• 2+ years experience with test planning and execution
• 2+ years experience in data manipulation and analysis using in a SQL environment
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals to meet deadlines of project tasks, with general supervision of a lead.
