Value Analysis Coordinator
Summary The Value Analysis Coordinator supports the sourcing, evaluation, and implementation of products and services that enhance patient care while ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability. In this role, your responsibilities include managing the new product request process, conducting data collection and analysis, coordinating vendor engagement, and preparing materials for review by the Value Analysis Committee (VAC). The coordinator serves as a central point of communication between the supply chain, clinical teams, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), vendors, and leadership. The Value Analysis Coordinator plays a crucial role in striking a balance between clinical quality, operational efficiency, and financial stewardship throughout the health system.
Hourly Pay Rate: $23.08 – $34.04
Qualifications Education
- Requires a high school diploma or GED certificate.
- A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.
Experience
- Two years of experience in a healthcare environment are required.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Must have excellent communication, organizing, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Requires the ability to work independently with limited guidance, and to negotiate and work with professionals.
- Requires working knowledge of contract analysis and reporting.
- Must have strong computer skills in MS Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
